Every year, Miss USA attracts the most beautiful women from all over the country. While many dream of making their way onto the Miss USA stage, only 51 get the privilege to do so every year and compete in the long-running beauty pageant. The pageant features a portion dedicated to interviewing the contestant and assigning points based on their answers to a variety of questions, as well as portions where the contestant are judged based on how they look and walk in evening wear, and swimsuits.
Our favorite part of the Miss USA is definitely the Evening Gowns Competition. Each and every contestant looking like a total stunner in a perfectly elegant dress, and the ladies didn’t disappoint this year. We present you our Top 10 favorites in the Miss USA 2018 Evening Gown Competition, and take a closer look at their gorgeous gowns.
1. Miss District of Columbia USA, Bryce Armstrong in Sherri Hill Fall 2018
Miss Columbia rocked the gold lame strapless Sherri Hill gown featured beautiful side draping/pleating, shining through competition in this gorgeous shiny number. This is the dress from Sherri Hill Fall 2018 collection, presented on the New York Fashion Week by the model and 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach.
2. Miss Oklahoma, Cheyene Darling
Miss Oklahoma wore a fluid flowing, high slit fiery red beaded gown and it reminded us of a Sherri Hill Dress Style 51364, a slim-fitting fully sequined dress with a fit and flare silhouette, and a sweep train.
3. Miss Mississippi, Laine Alden Mansour
Miss Mississippi channeled her inner Disney Princess by wearing a gorgeous nude gown with aquamarine beads and and attached flowy sky blue hue chiffon that looked like a Elsa and Ariel combined in a fairy tale look. It also reminded us of this look from NYFW Sherri Hill Fall 2018 Fashion Show.
4. Miss Georgia, Marianny Egurrola
Miss Georgia wore a bohemian-inspired evening gown. She found a match for her charismatic and elegant personality in a beaded, regal blue, fringe gown with sheer paneling that goes beautifully with her natural black hair. For your formal occasions we suggest something less revealing, but equally sexy, like this Sherri Hill 52063.
5. Miss Virginia,Ashley Vollrath
Miss Virginia looked stunning with a classic combed back hair with extra volume that perfectly matched the exotic hybrid cheetah-print + electric pleated gown from a Sherri Hill Fall 2018 that looks like it was designed for her.
6. Miss Missouri, Tori Kruse
There is no pageant without glitter and sparkle, and Miss Missouri surely knows how to shine on stage. This gorgeous fully sequined gown in beautiful nude color is a classic look for pageants and glam events. That was the thought that inspired this Sherri Hill gown from a Fall 2018 collection.
7. Miss Nebraska, Sarah Rose Summers
Miss Nebraska looked incredibly elegant in a floor-length black beaded gown with a satin overskirt. This gorgeous ensemble was designed by Sherri Hill, and we think that it might draw inspiration from one of the classic look from designers earlier styles – style number 51376.
8. Miss New Mexico, Kristen Leyva
Miss New Mexico swept the floor in a black ball gown featuring sequined bodice and see though black tulle skirt with metallic print all over. This original design is also a part of Sherri Hill Fall 2018 collection showcased at New York fashion Week.
