Whether you are a country music fan or not you’re likely to have heard about the biggest night of the year for the country music industry! The 54th annual Academy of Country Music Awards was held recently on April 7th in the beautiful MGM Grand Garden Arena of Las Vegas, Nevada. Hosted by Reba McEntire (actress and queen of country music!), this event is notably the biggest and most exciting party in the country music world every year. So of course, the genre’s hottest stars came out dressed to impress! Let’s be honest: the main focus isn’t just the music!
Here at Madame Bridal, we look forward to seeing the fashion show – the hot, the not, and the artistic. This year, we saw everything from sequined dresses to pantsuits and cowboy boots come out struttin’ on the red carpet. Many of the women wore stunning dresses or fashionable pantsuits while many men sported unique blazers and festive shoes. Find out who wore what here and take a peek into some of our favorite outfits!
Reba McEntire complimented her fiery red hair with a sassy burgundy flapper-esque dress paired with classic black and white cowgirl boots! The look is tied together with some bold and gold jewelry. In an attempt to integrate 20’s style flapper dress with modern jewelry and country boots, she rocked it as usual! A look not many people could pull off.
One of our FAVORITE looks was worn by Kacey Musgraves. Nominated for several awards, Kacey Musgraves accepted the Album of the Year award for ‘Golden Hour’ as well as the Female Artist of the Year all while wearing a dreamy pantsuit by Christian Cowan like no other. Colorful pastels adorned her like watercolors across the bell bottom flare pants and sleeves with a sexy reveal of her décolletage.
Keith Urban (pictured here with wife Nicole Kidman) was nominated for both Male Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year and received the award for Entertainer of the Year! Urban was seen here wearing a sleek dark suit which paired well with his wife’s sequined lace look. Plus, take a peek at her stylishly cute bowed heels!
Miranda Lambert and husband Brendan Mcloughlin were simple and sweet in their couple’s look. Lambert, who has won more ACM awards than any other country music star, is pictured here wearing a fitted lime green dress paired with a colorful pastel clutch! We especially love the slim-fit mermaid gown and diamond-neckline.
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher were classy and eye-catching! Underwood’s asymmetrical dress by Nicolas Jebran is sequined and sexy – definitely a crowd pleaser in our team! We especially love the empire waistband and asymmetrical revealing skirt.
Lady Antebellum matched their trio perfectly. We especially like the blended vertical stripes on Hilary’s dress that draw the eye from top to bottom. Added with the horizontal striped empire waistband and low v-neckline this is definitely a fan favorite here at Madame Bridal. Plus, how perfect does this trio look standing side by side with their color coordinated outfits?! LOVE IT!
Seen here is Kelly Clarkson sporting a dark and lacy dress. We love the deep v-neckline and square shoulders that lead down to lace full length sleeves – definitely a unique look. Plus, a thigh-high slit and chunky earrings! Yeah girl!
Brothers Osborne definitely take the cake for the most unique and festive look! Nominated for several awards, these guys were having fun from the moment they stepped foot on the carpet. Just zoom into the detail on these suits! We’re very impressed.
Another favorite look of ours was worn by the dashing couple Luke Bryan and Caroline Boyer Bryan. Nominated for Entertainer of the Year and Single Record of the Year, Bryan matched his wife in a glorious gold jacket. Caroline’s dress is stunning – we love the asymmetrical neckline and slim-fit floor length skirt. The gold beadwork is gorgeous! LOVE IT!
Nominated for Duo of the Year, Maddie and Tae mixed it up with a classy and fun blend of sexy pant suit with colorful and fun mini dress. Topped off with cute clutches and simple heels, these gals rocked their looks!
Winner of the Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award, Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Aldean were rocking a classy country look this year. Jason’s stetson and boots with Brittany’s slim fit white on white pantsuit were a simple and stylish duo. Congratulations to Jason for winning this grand award!
